托福（TOEFL）
由于英美澳加纽都是英语国家，学生想直接升读该国家的学校时，不但学术成绩要达到标准，英语水平亦是学校考虑的必要因素。托福考试（Test of English As a Foreign Language TOEFL）主要是为赴美、加升学；非以英语为母语的学生，评核其英语能力的国际认可考试。此考试是由Educational Testing Service (ETS)提供及颁发资格。
考试形式
考试共分四部份：
•聆力理解 (Listening)：听4-6篇学术英语或2-3篇长对话，题目类型包括选择题、排序题和图表题。
•阅读 (Reading)：阅读3-5篇学术文章，回答36-70道题目。
•写作 (Writing, TWE)：完成2题。
•口语：6题，2题为独立体，4题为整合题。
