加拿大LPI
LPI（Language Proficiency Index）语文能力指数
是加拿大的一个英文测试，最初期是University of British Columbia 研究出来并要求学士学位一年级生升读二年级前必须通过的一个测试，主要反映学生英文读写能力。不但国际学生须要参加，本地学生亦无可避免。如果没有通过测试便不可以进入相应的课程从而拿不到完整的学分
近年来，已经广泛受英属哥伦比亚省的大学所应用，如果同学以中学或小区学院考上SFU Simon Fraser University 就会被要求考 LPI。由于大学衔接课程中设有英语课程，一般以该课程升大学的便可以豁免。
